Soft Ride at the All American Quarter Horse Congress

We have been having an amazing, extremely busy, time at the All American Quarter Horse Congress at the state fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio for the past couple of weeks. We’re spending most of our time in the booth teaching people about the importance of support and circulation in the horse hoof.

Making sure the horses at the show are comfortable is a top priority for contestants this month. Competitors trailer their horses hundreds, sometimes even thousands, of miles to attend the show. Once they arrive at the fairgrounds, the horses walk across hundreds of acres of concrete and blacktop between their stalls, warmup rings, and competition arenas. This can mean working with sore-footed horses if they aren’t getting the hoof support they’re used to, and no one wants to spend the time, energy, and money it takes to compete in big shows like this, just to have their horse go lame.

Luckily, Soft Ride Boots are supporting and protecting these beautiful equine athletes as they compete in the wide range of disciplines represented at the AQHA Congress. When we’ve managed to step away from our booth we’re thrilled by all the Soft Rides we see on horses as they travel back and forth between warmups, competitions, and cool-downs. Here are a few of the horses and their people we’ve caught on camera while we were out and about!
