At Soft Ride we’re currently cleaning up from Hurricane Beryl and working as hard as possible to get orders back out on the road. Soft Ride’s manufacturing location is in Bacliff, Texas right on the Gulf Coast in Texas. The week marks the earliest hurricane interruption we have had in 20 years of service. We are so grateful to our clients for their kindness and understanding when weather delays interrupt package deliveries, especially when the packages are shipping to sick or injured horses. We have been lucky and our facility did not sustain severe damage in this storm. However flooding, lack of power and internet connections have caused delays. We are currently working on filling all of our backorders and crossing our fingers that our regularly scheduled shipping is picked up on time. As FedEx also works on their backlog in the Houston and Nashville shipping hubs we’ve noticed that some tracking numbers are not accurately reporting package movement. We appreciate having clients who understand the limitations of our control over weather incidents and shipping times, and want you to know we are doing everything in our power to get products to our loyal customers.

Soft Ride’s Hurricane Policy
If it is safe and possible for our employees to come to work, we do. That’s the benefit of a small, family business - we all have a stake in making it work and we’re very loyal to our customers! When roads are closed or mandatory evacuations are put in place, work at the primary shipping facility is suspended. Since our customer service agents work from remote locations where they live, localized natural disasters generally do not interrupt customer service. Soft Ride receives and fills orders whenever possible, but requires power and internet to connect to our order management system and FedEx’s shipping system. In the event of delays that are outside Soft Ride’s control such as weather delays, refunds will not be processed for shipping speed delays.
Weather delays include natural events outside of the control of FedEx such as snow, hurricanes, fires, tornadoes, or storms. If your package status is 'Weather delay': Please note that every effort is being made to deliver your package as soon as possible. If your package is delayed due to weather conditions or natural disasters, FedEx will not be held responsible for any delays or damages caused to your package. No refunds or discounts will be applied to shipping costs.
