Soft Ride is at the All American Quarter Horse Congress |
|
|
Greetings from Columbus!
We’re coming to you this week from the All American Quarter Horse Congress — the largest single-breed horse show in the world — held at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio. With more than 25,000 entries, 650,000 visitors, and over a month of non-stop competition, Congress is one of the highlights of our year. It’s an incredible celebration of horsemanship, athleticism, and the bond we share with our horses.
But with all that excitement comes one big challenge: concrete. Nearly every barn aisle, stall row, and walkway here is paved, which can take a toll on horses’ legs and hooves. Long days standing, waiting, and walking on hard surfaces can lead to soreness, inflammation, and fatigue — especially when competition demands their best.
That’s where Soft Ride really helps. Our gel orthotic boots are designed to provide traction, reduce concussion, improve circulation, and keep horses comfortable no matter how long they’re on their feet. Whether you’re hauling across the country, spending hours waiting for the warm-up ring, or stabling on concrete all week, Soft Ride boots help your horse stay sound, supported, and ready to perform.
If you’re at Congress, stop by and see us in Booth 602 of Congress Hall in the Bricker Building, we’d love to say hello, answer questions, and help keep your horses feeling their best. |

While you’re here at Congress, don’t miss our interactive learning displays at the Soft Ride booth! You’ll have a chance to feel the difference in breakover with our SoftRider horseshoes, see our Ice Spa in action and learn how cold therapy supports recovery, and watch casting demonstrations on video with the examples created by Stuart Muir of Rood and Riddle Kentucky that show how to stabilize and support hooves in real time. It’s a hands-on way to understand the science behind comfort and performance, and how Soft Ride keeps horses at their best. |

What Does it take to get the Soft Ride’s Booth Up and Running |

Being a vendor at a horse show, vet clinic, trade show, or symposium is an interesting experience. Our booth has to have all the visual appeal, educational potential, and draw of a permanently set up store, but it also has to be portable and packable so we can continue on to the next location. This timelapse gives a brief window into the three day process that results in a fully functional 10x30ft store front and education center which will be our hangout from now through October 26th. |
