| Happy Halloween, No Laminitis! Conference,Congress Wrap Up |
|
| It’s a busy week in the Soft Ride world! We just got home from our incredible time at the All American Quarter Horse Congress — thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to talk hoof care and share your horses’ stories, scroll on to see a few of the Soft Ride sightings around the Ohio State Fairgrounds!
Today kicks off the Virtual No Laminitis! Conference, where leading veterinarians and farriers will be sharing the latest research on equine comfort and prevention. We’re proud to be part of the conversation on how to keep horses moving their best.
And since it’s Halloween, here’s your friendly reminder: save the sugar for yourself, not your horse! A few extra treats shouldn't hurt, but moderation keeps your horse happy, sound, and ready for the next show.
See you at the show, The Soft Ride Team |

| | The 2025 No Laminitis! Conference (October 31 – November 2, 2025) is being hosted by the ECIR Group and is conducted entirely online via Zoom. Over the three-day period attendees will hear from leading researchers and clinicians about topics like hyperinsulinemia, early detection of endocrine disorders, hoof anatomy and loading, nutrition in metabolic disease, and most importantly — prevention of laminitis in horses.
Take Home Points from the Conference:
Early Detection & Endocrine Health: New findings on recognizing early signs of PPID and managing insulin resistance to prevent laminitis before it starts.
Nutrition & Metabolic Management: Research into how diet, mineral balance, and carbohydrate content in grasses affect hyperinsulinemia and hoof health.
Hoof Function & Anatomy: Fresh insights into how hoof loading, growth, and circulation influence long-term soundness.
Soft Ride is proud to be a sponsoring partner of the conference, because we believe strongly in advancing research and practical solutions to help keep horses sound, comfortable, and laminitis-free. We’re committed to supporting the ongoing education and science that empowers horse owners and professionals to proactively care for their horses’ welfare. |

| | Soft Ride Boots and Stories Everywhere You Look! |
|
| | “My husband got me Soft Ride Boots for my first horse and they make him feel so much better at the rodeos, so I obviously had to get boots for my new horse too!” |
|
| | “We had them for my wife’s old gelding. He was a good horse and we showed him a lot. At home he was fine but when we got to the shows he’d get sore, and if you threw him in the Soft Ride Boots, then you could take him in four or five classes and he’d do great, but if he didn’t have the boots he couldn’t get through one. It was amazing what a difference they made in his comfort.” |
|
| | “The story of our Soft Rides is when she won reserve champion she didn’t want the jacket and she didn’t want the buckle, she wanted Soft Ride Boots for her horse, and this was her heart horse. We put them on the fronts and the backs so she was protected all the way around, and she never went to a show without them.” |
|
| | “She unloaded so, so sore, and she was completely stocked up from the trip. My very first stop at the show was Soft Ride boots- like I haven’t even changed my shirt since yesterday- but I got boots on her and she immediately started moving better, and within an hour she was back to her regular self and we’re ready to show.” |
